Download

not out yet. I'm still being tested on real Macs.

The tester

OmaBoot? Live

A verifiable fork of the official Omarchy ISO. Test your Mac, and fixes, against Omarchy without installing anything or touching your disks.

First release soonabout 1.2 GB

Installer and tester

OmaBoot? Omarchy

Omarchy's own installer with the tester one menu entry away. Test first, then install from the same stick.

After Liveabout 6 GB

Two sticks

OmaBoot? Slim

Someday, hopefully: a small OmaBoot? stick that works alongside Omarchy's official ISO on a second stick. Test with one, install with the other.

Hopeful future

Each release comes with

  • The image: one .iso file.
  • SHA256SUMS and its signature, SHA256SUMS.sig, so you can check the download.
  • The Omarchy release it's built from, and the full package list with versions.
  • A difference report against the official Omarchy ISO of the same release.
  • The public build log.

Next

  1. Verify the download.
  2. Write the stick.
  3. Hold Option as the Mac starts.

Meanwhile, see which Macs are already tested on DoesItOmarchy.com.
