Trackpad and multi-touch
How it tests
Reads the built-in trackpad's raw touch events and ticks off: four corners, click, two-finger click, two-finger scroll up and down, pinch, three-finger swipe. Older pads without multi-touch stop after scroll; a pad running as a plain mouse gets move and click only.
How it decides
Supported: all steps. Partial: mouse mode only, or the tester says the rest doesn't work. Failed: no trackpad or nothing registers.
How sure it is
Raw multi-touch events prove the driver. Hyprland sees them through libinput, which can still misbehave (jumpy pointer, palm detection) where raw events look fine.
On a real Mac
- On a MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012): every step, up to 3 fingers.
What could mislead it
- Could pass when it shouldn'tGestures register raw but feel wrong in Hyprland (jitter, missed taps).
- Could fail when it shouldn'tThresholds (15 % scroll, 20 % pinch and swipe) are hard to reach on very small pads for some people.
